Feb. 5th

We're hoping to to start DIY or DIE up again on Feb. 5th. I don't really have any films to show so we'll see what happens. I'll try to shoot some stuff this week just so we can get going again. And of course, anyone that makes a short and brings it will have it screened and will also be considered "awesome" by me. Anyway, show up to Cuppy's on Feb. 5th sometime around 7pm and we'll make the most of it.

The good news is that starting now, every DIY or DIE night will close with a short film by an acclaimed filmmaker. This month we'll be showing the Lynne Ramsay short "Gasman", one of my favorites, so that should be enough reason to come out.

I'm hoping to start posting some stuff here on the site that makes it more appealing to a wider audience so that it can hopefully grow and begin to create a network of filmmakers. So, keep checking in for new and exciting updates!

Tuesday, November 6th is our next film showcase at Cuppy's Coffee in Murrieta, CA. C'mon out and support independent film!

REMEMBER, REMEMBER THE 6TH OF NOVEMBER

Dust off your cameras and get out there and start shooting! November 6th (every 1st Tuesday) is our next Independent Film Showcase at Cuppy's. The theme is "a woman in trouble" inspired by the films of David Lynch. We will also be showing some rare short films by David Lynch if we have extra time at the end. The theme is a fun thing to do to see what each filmmaker does with the same central theme, but your film does not have to follow the theme to be shown.
